FLASHBACK ON 2010 & RESOLUTIONS FOR 2011

2010 has been, by far, the bestest year I've had in a long time!

- I took chances & went for what I wanted (& managed to be known for what I could do)
- I saw who my true friends are & who should be dropped from my list of friends
- I learnt how to make full use of my selective hearing & sight
- I managed to catch up with alot of old friends
- I had the best birthday in YEARS!
- I realised how important I love my family (even more than before)
- I was part of the Youth Olympic Games Singapore 2010!
- Became an emcee for events in school & outside/externally
- I grew up, became more mature & thought about others before myself
- I took part in many events that have changed my life & have given me more experience & exposure.
- I started swimming again after like 5 or 6years? (Y)
- I learnt that having a bubbletea shop across my place is terrible (cos now I'm a regular there!)
- I learnt, we can't always please everyone. No matter what, half the people you know are hating & will hate you.
- I've met really good people that might just help me in the long run.
- I've learnt that nothing lasts forever & that I now, do not believe in the term "BEST FRIENDS FOREVER". Instead, I'm cool with just a "close friend".
- I've gone to the coffeeshop more often in the last couple of months, than I have in YEAR! HAHAHA!
- I've learnt that people might say I'm arrogant because I am picky about the type of people I hang around with, but it's alright. Because it's good that I am conscious of the type of people I befriend.
- I've been too whiny this year
- I've got awesome friends who have gone all out to support/help me
- My family, no matter what, will always be first in my heart
- It has been an emotional roller-coaster ride, but it has only made me stronger
- & I've learnt to not trust the guy who told you to wait, but moved on.


I kinda think that wraps up my 2010! HAHAHA. If you know which sentence referred to what/whom, then good on you! :D Thanks to everyone & every oppurtunity that has made me a better person & my 2010 a brilliant one at that! xoxo.

1) Make this list short, sweet & accomplishable!
2) STOP HURLING PROFANITIES!
3) LOSE WEIGHT
4) Last year of Poly life, STUDY PLEASE!
5) Don't be too rash and impulsive
6) EARN & SAVE MORE MONEY!
7) DO NOT CONDONE behaviour(s) that you deem are hurtful/humiliating/insensitive/just plain rude!
8) Speak PROPER english & ditch the singlish
9) Be less mean and more demure
10) Don't be TOO nice/friendly to people you deem are ACQUAINTANCES
11) Be POSITIVE!
12) STOP BEING A BIMBO
13) DONT BE SO BITCHY!
14) CUT DOWN ON THE SHOPPING SPREES
15) Learn to control emotions better
16) Learn to be serious
17) Swim/Exercise more often
18) DO NOT have bubbletea or Fastfood more than TWICE A WEEK!
19) Take the chances & go for what you want. No pain = no gain.
20) Don't just "go with the flow" but stand firm on what you think/feel!
21) STICK & COMPLY TO THIS RESOLUTION LIST!!!

Yeah. So some of these resolutions have been the same for the past 3 or 4 years. But I've made changes here & there. And honestly, I really wanna fulfill this list this year. At least 3/4 of the list!

I had to cancel ALL my plans & reject my friends invitation to go out for a celebration. All because I haven't finish this stupid assignment. :( Totally regret not starting on it earlier. Okay, it's 7:12pm and I'm only on my 4th paragraph. That's all for now. If I'm able to upload photos later, I will. :) In case I can't make it in time....

Oh lookie here. It's 6:39pm and the 30th of December 2010! It's the 2nd last day of the year! And I've only written TWO MISERABLE PARAGRAPHS for my essay assignment. Meh. I'll do it....tomorrow. HAHAHAHA. Welcome to the life of the Ultimate Procrastinator! Anyways, I went swimming on Tuesday with Tabbs & I just went swimming this morning with Manda! WOOHOO. Bring on the chlorine, sucka! (Y) My whole body is aching like mad. Not to mention, my hair...it's just in a really sad state. To think, I just got a haircut like on Tuesday after swimming. :(

Have I mentioned about my xmas presents? HAHAHAH. Damn funny. So beginning of December, I went out with my sis after school to get mommeh her birthday present. I ended up getting me-self a Fred Perry bag (which was a lil common, but who cares? I love the bag!). I even got it GIFT-WRAPPED FOR MYSELF. HAHAHAHAHAHAH. And then we went to ZARA, sissy bought me a top, which I wrapped up as well as her present to me. And if that wasn't enough, I even bought myself a Marc by Marc Jacobs bag! HAHAHA. That was all bought JUST 8 days into december....

AND MY WHOLE ALLOWANCE + MUSHROOM BANK (My "piggybank" is in a form of a mushrooom. LOL) MOOLAH....ALL GONE. ALL...EACH & EVERY PENNY I HAD. :(

I think that pretty much explains why I haven't been going out like trying out fish spa (which I REALLY REALLY wanna go) & whatnot. Thank goodness mommeh gave me a lil more money. (L) Yeah, I haven't worked in....what feels like a whole year, but is actually only 4months. HAHA. No point in me getting a job now anyway. My internship's gonna start...prolly in the ending of February.

Oh! & I finally received my portable dvd player! (Y) Now I can watch all my Korean dramas without having to tell my mum to stop hogging the teevo outside (cos thats where the dvd player is)! YIPEEEE! Notonly can I watch dvds on it, I can play games & even watch tv on it! THAT MEANS NOW I HAVE 2 TEEVOS IN MA ROOM. (Y) I love my mom. xoxo.

On a more serious note, I'll come up with a New Year's Resolution List (which I clearly, do not stick to most of the time) by tmr. And this time, there's gonna be wayyy more things to add. Because I am just sick & tired of trying to be nice to people in school. Call me a bitch, or whatever. I need to be who I really am. People in school haven't seen me lose my cool or be a total mean person. & that's only because I told myself when I got into poly, that I was gonna play it cool and try to be nice & not lose my cool. But enough is really enough. I need to draw the line between friend & foe, funny, mean and humiliating and whatever else.

Most importantly, I need to know who are my true friends, who are my fair-weather friends and who...are just so bloody macam paham people who act like I'm their bff when they don't even know me one bit. -_-

Some friends are worth keeping & some are worth ditching. If they dont know the value & meaning of FRIENDSHIP, they oughtta be ditched.

So here's the thing...

I just can't bring myself to start on my Sports Admin UT2 assignment. I mean....

OH FOR THE LOVE OF ALL MANKIND, THIS IS JUST OH-SO DEPRESSING!

It's a term break. BREAK. BREAK. BREAK. Not for us to break apart and jump into the sea of stress and utter depression finishing up this kinda stupid assignment. Doesn't even help one bit that the people we need to gather information from doesn't even bother to email back. & then I found out from my faci....

THAT SOME NSAs DON'T EVEN HAVE AN ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT PLAN!

Hello, that is just...SO SAD. So much for us working hard towards becoming a Sporting Nation when we dont even have an athlete development plan. -__-

So anyways, I've been procrastinating, and I feel like this assignment is just too boring. Doesn't help much since the weather these days have been OH-SO-SHIOK! So cold, windy and rainy! (Y) Hence, this once again, makes me ask myself what the hell I'm going, taking up this course. MEH.

I think I need to burn my plans for whatever's left of my holidays to finish up my work & have I mentioned? I HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN ABLE TO CATCH UP ON THE SLEEP I'VE MISSED IN MONTHS! :( It's like I can't get to sleep till like 3plus in the morning & my bioclock wont let me wake up any later than 1130am! I'm not sure if I should be lovin' my bioclock or hatin' it. So yes, I've to catch up on sleep before school reopens too!

On a happier note, I had a pretty good Christmas eve & morning. Stayed over at Farrah's with Intan, Myn & Aidah. I'll upload those photos when Aidah uploads the photos of us in her camera. :) And I hope all you people reading this, had a great Christmas too!

Oh yes! I went for my first interview for my internship next semester, at Z-fencing 2 days ago! The place was rather comfy & quiet. I wouldn't mind interning there (especially since there's a direct bus from my place. hahahehehoho)! People there look friendly & it'd be even better if...INTAN'S CHOSEN TO INTERN THERE TOO! (Y) Yes! She went for the interview too! :D Went to funan after that to collect my laptop &...

I slept like 3am the previous night & woke up at 7am to prepare for a workshop I had in school, which I was FASHIONABLY over an hour late. HAHAHAHAHAHA. That has NEVER happened before. It just clearly shows that I definitely did not take that workshop seriously, at all. *smirks* Spent my 50bucks real quickly at the flea. Regretted not bringing more money. :( Met Diana after that & went to MANGO to shop a lil more. Total damage for the day was like a hundred bucks. I need a boyf who can control the way I shop but still love shopping as well. HAHAHAHAHA.

Man! I've owed this blog & everyone reading my blog a billion updates! Been up and about every single day. Oh and have I mentioned?

I'M ON MY TERM BREAK!

Meh. Term break, no break. No difference. I've been terribly busy. Been going out, settling all I need to settle and even going back to school these past few days. Yes, you read it right, it's the hols yet I've to go back to school. Well, commitments and respoinsibilities. I've to be prepared for Republic Poly's Open House 2011. Well, since I'm at it....

PLEASE DO COME DOWN FOR REPUBLIC POLYTECHNIC'S OPEN HOUSE 2011 ON THE 6TH, 7TH & 8TH JANUARY 2011! :)

I'll be one of the few emcees for the whole event. :) YAY! But not for the 7th Jan tho. I've my Leisure Planning UT2 Presentation which I definitely cannot miss! Busy busy busy! I've not even gotten started with my Sports Admin UT2 essay assignment dued on the 9th of Jan.

Cut to the chase. I'll just update on as many things as I can right now. It's gonna be a sitothebei long post. Warn yall already uh!

JYP Auditions

I queued from 9am uptil 5pm before it was my turn! OKAY IMAGINE THAT! There were THOUSANDS that turned up. And no, I'm not at all exaggerating. I was really anxious to get the audition over and done with. Not cos I was nervous about the audition but because we had reservations at Hei Sushi to celebrate Mom's birthday! YES. SAME DAY. Mad rushing I tell you! Anyways, I befriended 2 girls - one a 13year old Singaporean and another 16year old Korean whose english was..TOP NOTCH! Totally loved talking to her. I just ADORE talking to people who speak perfect english. Because then I wouldn't need to speak in Singlish. A bit tiring to hafta speak singlish all day. And I end up getting influenced.

(Speaking proper english as much as possible and ditching Singlish will DEFINITELY be in my New Year's Resolution.)

I was bored throughout the waiting time that I slept and slept and slept. The 2girls kept asking me how could I be so calm and even sleep! IDK! HAHA. I was just tired and lazy and...not nervous. No idea why. So I woke up and camwhored a little.

Got in the room in a batch of 10 people at a time. I was the only one who was auditioning as an Emcee. It was damn funny. I didn't use a script or anything so I just did what I was best at....TALK. I pretended I was emceeing Kpop Night 2010. And then i called MISS A...MISSY A. -__- Hahahahahahhahahaha wtf. Fail. Seriously. But they laughed. So...erm okay. In like less than 60 seconds, it was all over.

I didn't even think much about not making it through. See, I went for this audition so that I could have fun and gain the experience of going through an OFFICIAL audition kinda thing. Also, it would be a way for me to wrap up my 2010. Okay, I'll talk more about this later. So I rushed of to meet sissy & her boyf to celebrate Momsie's birthday.

We were 2hours late for our reservation (thanks to me & my audition). But thankfully, the weren't many people there so our table was still reserved for us! :)

SHL vs SEG BRAG GAMES (Frisbee)

BRAG is this inter-diploma school annual competition thingy in RP. I played in one of the games. I was pretty much useless, if I may say so myself. Rusty like mad. Stamina was pure crap. Anyways, we lost by a few points. Good game, it was. Nothing much to say so here are some of the photos:

Production & Stage management Workshop

Events & logistics module workshop. There was a Fire drill which was uber lame. Went for break at the coffeeshop to get my prata craving satisfied. Hakim gave us a lift back to school. 8 people squeezed into his car. It was HILARIOUS!

Last day of the term

Played bball & badminton with some of my classmates. Rain was a real spoiler tho. Hung out, had dinner at the coffeeshop (ever since I've started hanging out with my classmates, I seem to be going to the coffeeshop more often. HAHAHAHAHA), had a lift to the bus interchange. (Y)
