Day 3:

Had brunch before setting out on my own in a foreign land for the first time!! Headed to Glenelg where it was a shoppers' paradise, complete with a jetty & beach! It was a pretty brilliant sight. Did some shopping & one of the shopkeepers though I was British. *crickets* Okay, the reason why she said so was because she said I had "an accent". I kinda sortda did. Well, you can't speak to them in some rubbish singlish cos they wont understand shit. And when they know you're an Asian foreigner, I was afraid they might cheat me or something. So I spoke in brilliant english. *flicks hair* But the funny part was that she was INSISTENT that I was British even when I denied. Smh. Hahaha. Okay, so my bro told me about this Boost Juice thingy & when I found it there, I was like,"I MUST TRY THIS!" I met two PERFECT looking Aussies there. HEHEHE. So nice to let me cut their queue with the,"Ladies first." But of course I declined. Why? Because I didn't know what to buy. -.- Hahaha. What a pity. Anyways, after buying my King William chocolate Boost Juice , I was sitting down & this cute blondie asked for a hi-5. I was like,"huh? say what?" And after giving him a hi-5, he asked for my number. I didn't give, obvs! My excuse was "I don't own a phone" and stupidly, I WAS HOLDING MY PHONE. -.- I only realised AFTER he said,"You sure? Oh well, see you around, mate! *winks*" /facepalm. I'm the worst liar on the face of this earth. Everyone I know that has heard about this thinks I'm stupid & that I should have given him my number. After all, I was only there for 2weeks & it wasn't as if I was gonna give him my SG number or wtv. URGH! I still kick myself at this stupid move! Smh



Anyways, I wanted to head to the city via the Tram to prolly meet Frizzy after her school but I ended up losing my way & ending up in some ulu area where I walked for NEARLY 3 HOURS to the city!!! Thank god the weather was so shiok! I didn't even perspire, AT ALL! I followed the road signs, thankfully! Nearly 3hours walk & I didn't complain. Just to walk from my place to the MRT station is a mere 10minutes and I kaopei so much. Woah...THE DIFFERENCE! (Y) Hahahaha. Oh yeah, and actually the tram fare's AUD5 but cos the conductor didn't come to me, I ended up not needing to even pay a dime!!!! Not knowing what I'll see along the way while getting lost & the risk of getting mugged, raped & killed filled my mind. But the thought of seeing Adelaide by foot overwhelmed me so, HECK! It was gonna be a real adventure!

After nearly 3hours, I reached the City - Rundall Mall, SAFE & SOUND! The sights along the way were priceless! Not at all exaggerating! It was pretty huge and I found...BUBBLETEA. HEHEHEHE! I spent like S$6 on it and it tasted like....SOMEONE VOMITED IN A CUP & I WAS DRINKING IT. wtf! I could buy TWO gongcha earl grey milk tea with pearls in SG with that $! I'm fucking serious. Smh.

After I took this photo, I threw it away. Urgh. What a waste of moolah!

Anyways, did a little more shopping & waited for Frizzy to pick me up to head to her friend, Cali's for dinner which Frizzy did the cooking! Hahaha the irony right! Cali, her mom & Ben were a delight! Really friendly and welcoming! Watched Zombieland over dinner before heading home! Was one helluva day! (Y)
